Safety measures

1. Before you lend

• Check the borrower's profile link and record.
• Take a photo of the item and its condition at handover.

2. Handover

• Meet somewhere public, or at a time someone else is home.
• Show how to use anything that needs it, and hand over any safety gear.

3. Borrowing

• Treat it as your own, and return it clean, on time and as you got it.
• If you borrow it and it breaks, you fix it. Tell the lender straight away and agree how.

4. Problems

• Use Report on the item. The site puts members in touch; it does not check items and is not part of the loan.
