Listings
- Each listing shows the business category, suburb, phone, website and a short summary.
- Businesses with a full profile page have a More information link to it.
- Add your business using Add Listing. Paste your existing advertisement or post, and the form fills itself.
Browsing
- Browse using category buttons, the search box, or the suburb-and-distance filter.
- Call, email or visit a business website directly from its listing, without signing in.
Getting found locally
Include your suburb, state and postcode together on your business page so the directory can place your listing in the correct area. See the Business Directory — getting found by suburb guide for examples and instructions.
Keeping listings accurate

- Found a closed business or incorrect details? Use Report on the listing so the team can check it.
- Signed-in members can mark a listing's page as no longer valid. The listing is taken down until the issue is resolved.
- Every six months, businesses receive a short email asking them to confirm their details with one click, without signing in.
Business Directory — getting found by suburb
Help local customers find your business by including your suburb, state and postcode together on your business page.
Why it matters
- People can find businesses by selecting a suburb or searching within a distance, such as 10 km.
- The directory uses your postcode to place your listing geographically. If it cannot identify a postcode, your listing may appear under "Postcode not set" instead of the correct area.
- The directory reads the postcode from your business page when the state appears immediately before it.
What to write
Write your suburb, state and postcode together in your page's text. Your street address is a good place to include them.

- Use the short state or territory abbreviation: NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, ACT or NT.
- Include the postcode in your page's text, not only in a picture or map.
After you update your page
- The directory picks up the postcode the next time it updates its data from business pages. No further action is normally needed if the postcode has not already been set.
- If your listing already has an incorrect postcode, contact the site team to have it corrected. Updating the page alone will not change a postcode that is already set.
