About  Community Apps

  • Lost & Found

Report something you've lost or found, and help it get back home.

    Reporting

    • Use Report Lost or Report Found: say what it is, where and when, and add a photo.
    • Paste a Facebook post or message and the form fills itself, ready to check.
    • Your phone and email are only shown to signed-in members.

    Finding

    • Category buttons, a search box, and a suburb-and-distance filter.
    • Open an item to see its photo, details and where it was lost or found.
    • Signed-in members can contact the person who posted it.

    What the labels mean

    Label Meaning
Lost Someone is looking for it
Found Someone has it and is looking for the owner
Returned It's back with its owner, and moves to the archive
    Closed The listing was cancelled
    • The person who posted an item updates it as things change: Mark found, Contacted owner, Mark returned.
  • Business Directory

Local businesses and services across the region, a tap away.

    Listings

    • Each listing shows the business's category, suburb, phone, website and a short summary.

    Getting found by suburb

    • Write your suburb, state and postcode together on your business page, for example Nowra NSW 2541.
    • Without them your listing shows as "Postcode not set", so locals can't tell you're nearby.

    Keeping it accurate

    Label Meaning
    Listed Live in the directory
Page not valid Taken down until it's checked
Removed No longer in the directory
    • Spot a business that has closed or has the wrong details? Use Report on the listing and the team will check it.
    • Signed-in members can mark a listing's page as no longer valid, and it's taken down until it's resolved.
    • Every six months each business gets a short email to confirm its listing is still right: one click, no sign-in.

Getting found by suburb: what to write

Put your suburb, then your state, then your postcode, side by side, anywhere in your page's text. Your street address is the best place.

    Nowra NSW 2541 Yes
    Nowra, NSW, 2541 Yes
Nowra 2541 No: the state is missing

Nowra NSW No: the postcode is missing
