Posting (signed-in members)

• Add Event, with the event name, organiser, type (Community, Markets, Sport, Music, Workshops), venue, event date, suburb, details and a poster.
• Tick Online for online events; no suburb is needed then.

Browsing

• Lists: All, Open, Confirmed and Cancelled, sorted by date with the soonest first.
• Type buttons, a search box, and a suburb-and-distance filter. Online events show in every area.

Status

• Open means planned. Confirm marks it as definitely going ahead.
• Cancel event keeps it on the board with a red Cancelled label until its date, so anyone planning to go finds out.

Housekeeping

• Every event moves itself to the archive the day after its date. Past events stay viewable there.
• Organisers can edit an event at any time. Changing the date moves its archive date with it.
• Every step is kept in the event’s history, and only the organiser or a site admin can change it.

Show these listings on your website

Members can display [ Events ] listings on their own website, and they update automatically. To get started, contact us to request an API key. We’ll send you a short code to paste into your site. Each key belongs to one website and can be paused or revoked at any time.
